The UEFA Cup Final UKFast - Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, May 2008

For those who don't know: in May 2008 Manchester played host to the UEFA cup final and our intrepid team set out to capture the ambience of the city, which was brimming full of Scottish and Russian fans.

The events in Piccadilly Gardens and for that matter across the city were brilliant to watch and a great example of community celebration at work. It might be football that brought people together but it was a community spirit that drove the celebrations.
